Walmart Drops $320 Off This 32″ Samsung Gaming Monitor, Now Only $230 For Black Friday – IGN
Walmart just kicked off one of the best deals we’ve seen for a PC monitor for 2024. As part of the Walmart Early Black Friday Sale, you have the opportunity to pick up a 34″ Samsung Odyssey G5 gaming monitor for just $229.99 shipped after a massive $320 (60% off) instant discount. This is a great price for a very capable gaming monitor with a sharp native resolution, immersive curved design, high refresh rate, and an IPS panel.

The Samsung Odyssey G55T gaming monitor is a 34″ monitor with an ultrawide 3440×1440 resolution (110ppi), 1000R curved panel, 1ms MPRT response time, and 165Hz refresh rate. The IPS panel offers wide viewing angles and accurate color reproduction. Although the Odyssey G5 doesn’t have official G-Sync certification, it does support AMD FreeSync Premium, which means you can still run it in G-Sync compatibility mode if you have an Nvidia GeForce GPU.

Should I Wait for Black Friday?
There will be plenty more monitor deals on Black Friday, so if this monitor doesn’t fit your criteria, you should wait. However, if this monitor fulfills all of your current needs, you should jump on this deal. Walmart currently has it for far less than any other reputable retailer. For example, Amazon has it for the next-best price of $369.99. The previous historical price low was $299.99 back in July during the Amazon Prime Day event. I don’t expect this price to get any better before Black Friday, and it might even expire before November 29.
