Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes Cheer on the Chiefs in Private Suite
Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes sat side-by-side while watching the Kansas City Chiefs battle the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
On Monday, November 4, the pop star, 34, and the NFL wife, 29, were photographed hanging out together in a private suite at Arrowhead Stadium. The two smiled and laughed while looking out on the field, and in other moments, both Swift and Mahomes watched the game unfold with serious expressions on their faces. Swift’s immediate family members — mom Andrea, dad Scott and brother Austin — joined them in the suite along with Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna.
The Chiefs wound up defeating the Buccaneers, 30 to 24.
Brittany, who is married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, sparked a friendship with Swift last year after the “Anti-Hero” singer began dating Kelce, the Chiefs’ tight end.
“They have a really genuine friendship and love hanging out at the games together and cheering on their men,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2024. “Brittany loves that Taylor is dating Travis, and she’s so supportive of their relationship. They have a very similar sense of humor and are always cracking jokes and laughing.”
Brittany has frequently been seated next to Swift at Chiefs home and away games, with the two women enthusiastically cheering (and sharing secret handshakes) whenever their partners caught a pass or scored a touchdown.
Their friendship also extends beyond sports outings, with Swift inviting Brittany to her girls’ nights out on the town as well as to an A-list party at her Rhode Island mansion over the summer.
Swift flaunted a casually luxe ensemble for Monday’s Chiefs-Buccaneers matchup, sporting a Chiefs bomber jacket paired with a black top, matching shorts and knee-high boots by Christian Louboutin.
Brittany, who is pregnant, wore slouchy blue jeans and a matching oversized jacket with a white shirt underneath that highlighted her growing bump. In July, she and Patrick announced that they’re expecting their third child. The couple share son Bronze, 23 months, and 3-year-old daughter Sterling, who was seen Monday wearing a denim dress with her dad’s number on it, according to her grandma’s Instagram photos.
Both Brittany and Swift have been stealing the show with every gameday appearance. Last month, the women posted with Lyndsay Bell in a suite while the Chiefs took on the New Orleans Saints.
“Same girls, new bump,” Brittany captioned a series of Instagram photos two days later. In the first snap, Swift and Bell held onto their drinks in one hand and held Brittany’s baby bump in the other.
