Ali Fedotowsky Teases How Special Forces Training Impacted Her Body
Former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky underwent a complete “body transformation” ahead of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
“Doing the show not only changed my life but preparing for the show changed my life,” Fedotowsky, 40, wrote via Instagram Story on Friday, November 15. “So many of you have asked me about my body transformation. Honestly, 75 percent of the change happened when I was training for the show.”
She explained, “It was my job for two months straight and all I did was work out all day every day. I have so much behind-the-scenes stuff to share with you guys over the next few weeks/months! Get ready!”
In a video shared to her Instagram account on Friday, Fedotowsky’s husband Kevin Manno teased that she would hit the gym for “eight hours every day” to get in shape.
“People were concerned how much I was working out — there was a reason for it,” Fedotowsky added. “I was training. I trained my absolute best and my hardest and it’s finally coming out.”
Special Forces confirmed on Friday that Fedotowsky was among the season 3 recruits alongside Denise Richards, Cam Newton, Brody Jenner, Stephen Baldwin, Jordyn Wieber and more celebrities.
Fedotowsky further noted on Friday that she was “grateful” for the experience, which was filmed back in May. Upon her return home, the TV personality reflected on the journey without mentioning Special Forces by name.
“I’ve been off social for a little bit. I’m happy to be back. I cannot wait to share what I just did,” Fedotowsky said in a May 25 Instagram upload. “I have so many feelings around it. Crazy emotions around it. I, honestly, mentally don’t quite feel like myself right now because of it. I promise as soon as I can share, I will. I just can’t right now.”
Fedotowsky had previously been emotional about leaving home, away from Manno, 40, and their two kids: Molly, 7, and Riley, 5.
“Thank you for holding down the fort and supporting me in this @kevinmanno,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Don’t get too used to the house being so clean while I’m gone. I’ll be back to mess it up before you know it 🤪 Love you!!!”
Fedotowsky is not the first member of Bachelor Nation to test their skills on Special Forces. After Hannah Brown won season 1, fellow franchise alums Nick Viall and Tyler Cameron appeared on season 2. Trista Sutter, who was the OG Bachelorette in 2003, will compete alongside Fedotowsky in the new batch of episodes.
“The angel on my shoulder did have to face some pretty big battles,” Sutter, 52, wrote via Instagram on Friday. “You’ll have to tune in in January to see the battles play out, but for now, just so grateful to be a part of this epic adventure.”
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test premieres on Fox Wednesday, January 8, at 8 p.m. ET.
